The Widow by K.L. Slater
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

A young mother goes missing from a village Christmas party. Kate’s husband becomes a suspect, but she knows, he would not hurt the young woman. His keys are found in the missing girl’s house. Her cellphone is located in Michael’s toolbox. Who is the guy she has been married to for so many years? And where is the missing girl?
I will be honest, I wanted to give up on the book. The plot was good but unfolded so very slowly. I love K.L.Slater, but this book is not my favorite, too many characters, and too much drama, mostly caused by very poor communication. The pace has picked up by the very end, and what a great finale!
